Started in 1998 as “Project 2000,” the Leaders in Giving campaign has grown to include 93 individual contributors of $1,000 or more as of last year.

Our major gift efforts have been led by some impressive leaders in their own right: John Gordon of Faegre & Benson from 1998 to 2004, Andrea Kaufman of US Bank from 2004 to 2008, and now Mary Knoblauch of Anthony Ostlund Baer Louwagie & Ross P.A.

Leaders in Giving are recognized in Legal Aid’s Annual Report and in the The Fund’s Dinner Program as follows:

Builders: $10,000 and up

Shareholders: $5,000 to $9,999

Barristers: $2,000 to $4,999

Solicitors: $1,000 to $1,999
